A good chilli always fits! We like to top ours with our SUUR Green Salsa and lots of extra cumin. A little inner fire can't hurt at the current temperatures...
For 4 servings:
SUUR Green Salsa Hot Sauce
4 tbsp olive oil
2 red onions, peeled and diced
2 garlic cloves, peeled
2-3 tbsp tomato paste
2 cans of diced tomatoes
approx. 100 ml vegetable broth
1 can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 red chili pepper in rings or chili powder / chili flakes - depending on the desired level of spiciness
Salt, pepper, cumin, sweet paprika, lemon juice
optional: (plant-based) yoghurt, corn cooked, SUUR Garlic & Pepper or Spicy Cauliflower Love Craft Kraut
Heat oil in a saucepan, sauté onions and pressed garlic in it. Add tomato paste and sauté, then deglaze with canned tomatoes and broth. Add the beans and chili and simmer for about 20-30 minutes. If necessary, add corn and cook briefly, season with salt and pepper, cumin, sweet paprika and lemon juice.
Top with yoghurt and lots of green salsa. Delicious with bread and SUUR Garlic & Pepper or Spicy Cauliflower Love Craft Kraut.
