Grilled cheese sandwich with pesto & cabbage

Ok, we're now part of the Wild Garlic Pesto Club. But it also tastes delicious... Especially on a grilled cheese sandwich together with SUUR Love Craft Kraut Garlic & Pepper.

For 1 serving:⁠

For the wild garlic pesto:⁠
80 g wild garlic⁠
3 tbsp olive oil⁠
3 tbsp sunflower or cashew nuts⁠
1 tbsp yeast flakes⁠
1/2 tsp salt⁠
Juice of half a lemon⁠

For the sandwich:⁠
1 piece of wholemeal baguette (halved) or 2 sandwich breads⁠
1-2 tablespoons ⁠SUUR SUUR Garlic & Pepper ⁠
some (vegan) butter⁠
2-3 tomato slices⁠
50 g (vegan) cheese of your choice⁠

Puree all the ingredients for the pesto in the food processor or with a hand blender to the desired consistency. Taste and season if necessary.⁠

to butter bread. Spread a thick layer of pesto on one side of the baguette or sandwich slice. Top with tomato slices, cabbage and cheese and close. Toast in the sandwich maker or grill pan. ⁠
