Leckerer Veggie-Döner mit zweimal Kraut und Pilzen

Delicious veggie doner kebab with twice cabbage and mushrooms

If you are looking for inspiration for a fixed meal during the week, we recommend homemade doner kebabs. Our veggie kebab with two varieties of Love Craft cabbage and fried mushrooms will definitely fill you up and make you happy.⁠ ⁠

Ingredients for 2 people:⁠ ⁠

4 tablespoons SUUR Love Craft Herb Garlic & Pepper⁠

4 tablespoons SUUR Love Craft herb beetroot & ginger⁠

2 small flatbreads or a large shared⁠

2 tablespoons hummus (store-bought or homemade)⁠

200 g herb mushrooms, cleaned⁠

1-2 tbsp neutral coconut fat⁠ or olive oil⁠

1 tsp soy sauce⁠

1/2 tsp sweet paprika⁠

1/2 tsp garlic powder⁠

some dried thyme

optional chilli flakes⁠ ⁠

As you like: lettuce, cucumber slices, tomato pieces, onion rings, pieces of pepper⁠, spring onions⁠

1-2 tsp black sesame⁠ ⁠

Yoghurt Sauce:⁠

4 tbsp (plant-based) yogurt⁠

1 small garlic clove, peeled⁠

1 tbsp olive oil ⁠ ⁠

To taste: salt, pepper⁠, lemon juice⁠

Tear the mushrooms into bite-sized strips with the tines of a fork or your hands.⁠ Heat coconut or olive oil in a pan and fry the mushroom strips for about 5 minutes, add the paprika powder, garlic powder, thyme and soy sauce and continue frying briefly until cooked through. Taste and set aside.⁠ ⁠

For the yoghurt sauce: Mix all the ingredients with the pressed garlic and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Possibly add some more oil.⁠ ⁠

Toast or bake the bread and slice.

Spread a tablespoon of hummus on the inside. ⁠Fill with lettuce, cucumber slices, tomato pieces, onion rings, pepper pieces and mushrooms. Drizzle with the sauce and top with sesame.⁠ ⁠
